Folded Star Hot Pad~ Plum Easy Patterns 

September 18th, 2-5:00 p.m. Central Time (3-6 Eastern)

These 8" folded stars are new to me. I am liking how they turn out, however, and want to share the process with you. In the photos note how lovely they are with prints and solids contrasting with each other. We can have fun with these. 

I purchased my Plum Easy patterns through Shabby Fabrics. What we need are the Interfacing Templates shown below. I purchased a package of 12 templates because I know I will want to make these for gifts. They sell templates for round and square hot pads. Instructions are sold separately.

There is a helpful tool called the Prairie Pointer that I also recommend, also from Shabby Fabrics. I will be using one in class because it ensures perfect prairie points. So, pick your fabrics. Order your templates and your tool. Then, we'll be ready for class. 

ALL ZOOM classes are recorded and downloadable for 5 DAYS (120 hours) after the live class. The recording is e-mailed to registered students after class. Links to the pdf of the class PowerPoint is shared as a permanent reference for class content. 

A listing of class supplies will be shared by the instructor prior to the start of class. The class link is generally mailed 2-3 hours prior to class so the link doesn't get lost in personal emails.
