Disappearing Blocks Civil War Quilt
Disappearing Blocks Civil War Quilt
Starting Monday, November 9th and 16th, 2-5:00 Central Time
This is a delightful quilt from the Martingale Beyond the Battlefield book of Civil War Quilts. It is made from one quilt block pattern. Yes. It's all about taking the same quilt block and changing the colors for emphasis. Notice how different they look.
I would love to play with this block, wouldn't you? This will be a 5 month clss. We will work with three block variations each month. There is one rogue block that slips in there to make life interesting.
This can be totally scrappy and fun. At the same time, it could be made with civil war fabrics, reproduction prints or modern fabrics. Give this quilt your own special look.
If you are interested in ordering the book, it is Beyond the Battlefield by Mary Etherington and Connie Tesene, author of best-seller, The Blue and The Gray
