The Top Down Quilt

This delightful pattern is fun to play with. It has a few tips and tricks that will be discussed in class. But what's most fun is realizing that the entire quilt is created from 2 1/2" strips.

Also, this pattern gives you data for a Baby quilt, Throw, Twin, Queen and King sizes. It's not difficult. Daniela Stout has done a fine job creating this pattern, making it easy to understand in any size.

I have made the Top Down quilt many times and with great success. Each time I make it, I think it would be an awesome pattern for a class. So, grab your fabrics, scrappy or not, and come play with me.

If we set the class up with an empty week in the middle, that gives us time to work on our quilt project. This doesn't have to be stressful. Take your time. We will meet on alternating Tuesdays and complete our quilt. There's nothing better than a completed quilt.

ALL ZOOM classes are recorded and downloadable for 5 DAYS (120 hours) after the live class. The recording is e-mailed to registered students after class. Links to the pdf of the class PowerPoint is shared as a permanent reference for class content.

A listing of class supplies will be shared by the instructor prior to the start of class. The class link is generally mailed 2-3 hours prior to class so the link doesn't get lost in personal emails.
