The Mariner's Star (or Mariner's Compass) is one of the oldest none quilt patterns, tracing back to early American quilting traditions. Directly inspired by the decorative directional symbol printed on nautical charts, it now comes to us as a stunning quilt block.
Accuquilt noted the challenge for cutting this with a rotary cutter. Their BOB die gives us all the pieces so we might cut a block easily and sew it together efficiently and with ease, creating a 12" quilt block.
This will be a delight to play with. Let me create shortcuts for tackling this block construction. In addition, you will receive a recording from class and also a study guide as your partner for piecing.

ALL ZOOM classes are recorded and downloadable for 5 DAYS (120 hours) after the live class. The recording is e-mailed to registered students after class. Links to the pdf of the class PowerPoint is shared as a permanent reference for class content.
A listing of class supplies will be shared by the instructor prior to the start of class. The class link is generally mailed 2-3 hours prior to class so the link doesn't get lost in personal emails.
