The Alabama Beauty

Occasionally, I have heard talk about the Alabama Beauty. I've also done some research about this quilt block, only to discover that it's been around a while as a delightful block to create.

In my class, I will introduce you to the ease of sewing curved edges. Because Accuquilt has done the math for us, the shapes can be easily cut and sewn together. Previously, this block could only be created by using templates and painstakingly cutting them apart with scissors or a rotary cutter.

This is a block where you can be creative with color, creating a variety of designs with how you choose to place colors. What fun this is.

Since you can make a poinsettia table runner with this quilt block, it is perfect for the Christmas holidays. I do hope you'll take a few December hours to do something for you. See you in class.
