Telling a story in a quilt is a challenge to be sure. However, it is possible, and the ending quilt shares more than quilting skills, it tells about the life journey you have taken. Or perhaps it defines a window in time: 50 years of marriage or a vacation across the USA, the growth of a child, or a cruise we enjoyed. 

This is an opportunity for creativity. Negative space, positive space, quilt blocks, applique, embroidery, free motion, beautiful fabrics, improv, three dimensional shapes, even landscapes can be included. And why not add embellishments like lace and rick rack or wool. 

This is your quilt. This is your story, and I guide you through the process as your vision evolves. Meanwhile, think hard about participation because it is an honest, personal adventure in quilting. The experience just might change your thinking about quilts, or your approach toward creating them. The experience just might change you.
