Many learn how to create 'fidget quilts' as a community service project. Should you be interested, the initial instruction in this three hour class will walk you through the process. Then, there is time for hands-on practice in the spirit of our virtual quilting bee mentality. 

Supply list includes interesting notions from your sewing room: lace, felt, elastic, Velcro, cuddle, buttons, novel fabrics, zippers, chenille, ribbon, even crinkly candy wrappers. Sometimes the mesh bags from onions and potatoes can be put to good use. Additionally, these fidget quilts use fun fabric squares, fusible fleece, batting and flannel backing.
